The Singles Ball was originally the brain-child of just one man.  The Stewart Island Lions Club were asked to help, and a small but enthusiastic committee emerged. Doug, Jack, Jon, Mona & Vicki undertake the running of the ball, very ably helped by many groups on the Island, a real community project! The Ball Committee have decided to take a year off in 2012, dwindling numbers a contributing factor, so watch this space for the next happenings brought to you by the good folk of Stewart Island and all of our lovely volunteers!
